Well, the whole thing is riding on them.
The weakness that would fall before they would is that of the ISP.
It's a fine line because you want to support webhosts and try to make them strong, but you do NOT want to politicize them. Ever.
ISPs...
Even if the webhosts do their best in defending freedom etc., ISPs will be the ones who end up fucking everyone. It'd be as divided as the states.
Then there's the domain registry, don't even get me started on that... but still not as big a deal as the ISP.
