On a quick side, the discussion about the universe pulsing or blinking on and off (by the way, Amazing Scenes is my account, though I think you already know that) reminded me immediately of the now-declassified documents created by a CIA plant at the Monroe Institute regarding OBE's. I screenshotted this directly from the document -- it's actually a negative, and it seems to have a really nice breakdown of just this very idea; that energy waves move in and out of physical reality, and in and out of the eternal (or as some would describe 'spiritual'); so that from the physical vantage it appears to disappear and reappear over and over (also gives a cool visual for the "as above so below" concept).
