It is a great video/mix with the Shatner monologue...
It's sort of a "Sunset Boulevard" kind of situation...
The same sort of story with the same moral has been told a lot, especially during the 1950s-70s.
Shows like the Twilight Zone etc. all have their own versions of the story...
The woman (usually a screen star) who is obsessed with her own image and can't stop pouring over her old films and photos.
I've always thought the story was an important one to remember and understand...
Especially for someone like me who is much like the woman who danced herself into the mirror and died there.
For me though I look at it differently... I am aware that I am sole consciousness filtered through this consciousness vector. My identity is an illusion, all things are illusory.
Rather than it being a mere case of self-obsession, I recognize it as sole consciousness enjoying my existence to the deepest depths it can... by me facilitating that experience.
I am doing my ultimate best job to let sole consciousness fully experience and understand this consciousness vector on every level.
