I used to be a practicing Sikh, and read the Guru Granth Sahib many times, aka the "Sikh Bible", which is really just a 6000 page poetic prayer to be removed from this infinite cycle to return to God. It's the only religion I'm aware of that both believes in reincarnation, but sees reincarnating as a kind of endless hell, where we are forever removed from our true home. It's actually pretty heavy and heady, but it leaves the barest modicum of hope alive, if one can make the absolutely herculean effort to be pure for every single breath you take. Obviously we live in a world DESIGNED to distract us from that purity.
A world designed to keep us coming back.
Over and over.
