Just clean it out with the comb first of all...
Then fill up the sink with mega hot water and vinegar and let that shit soak in there for like 20 minutes.
Then you gotta keep picking it clean of all the fuckin' lint, comb still comes in handy at this point too.
Once you get it clean, just rinse it a few times and let it dry.
Good as new.
Admittedly the vinegar can fuck up the finish on the wood if it's a wood brush, but it's worth it to get the fucker clean.
That kinda deep clean shouldn't be necessary very often at all if upkeep is done on the brush by cleaning it with the comb.
