For years, I've been very interested in learning to live in a compact area and not only maintain my sanity, but THRIVE within that environment.
For example, traveling around solo in my SUV... it was some of the most intense fun and pleasure I've ever had in my life.
Couldn't even sit up in certain areas of the vehicle, not enough head room... but I learned to physically navigate that space, and not only enjoy it, but LOOK FORWARD TO IT.
Not only enjoyed it... but LOVED IT.
Not only loved it, but felt immense comfort from it. Immense safety. Immense peace.
That's the same feeling I get when I realize that almost every object I use regularly is within arm's reach in the space that I live in (where I spend the most time every day)...
I think there is a purpose in living this way, at least for me. I've been under the impression for years that I need this experience in my DNA for future generations. It's my belief that people will do local space travel a lot in the future, there will be personal space faring vehicles. People will probably spend a lot of time in space flying around in these small craft.
REGARDLESS of my little theory...
I think it is beneficial for ANYONE to learn to live in a small space, and not only remain sane and stable mentally, but learn to TRULY be HAPPY in that space.
