there's a fairly big overlap of theta and veritaseum hodlers. many, including myself, were advocating for theta to embrace veri and even migrate it off eth chain.
the reaction from all this interest in veri and reggie's patent from thetalabs is absurdly baffling. on the reasoning that they haven't successfully sued anyone yet, wes levitt [henceforth known as weaslevitz] decided there's no merit to reggie's patent. reggie went to their discord, said Hi, and then was banned. posts regarding veri or reggie's patent are now deleted, and users can be banned, classifying the users as 'brigading.'
the head of strategy, who markets thetalabs patents which haven't been proven in court, dismissed a patent for not having been proved in court. the head of strategy decreed that any inquiry gets your posts deleted and then you banned if you persist. the head of strategy insulted an innovator and businessman and everyone who supports him. the head of strategy just created distance and perhaps animosity with the holder of one of the most important patents.
