It's like Paris Hilton's husband Carter... he essentially works for her, he does many jobs. Bodyguard, photographer, agent, publicist, model, you name it. Yes, they're married, but... I think the relationship is more about functionality than romance. I'm not even saying that's a bad approach, since I believe romantic love is just BS anyway. Paris has always been a brilliant businesswoman and the situation with Carter and their marriage is just more proof.
If Sam does/did work for Britney and their relationship is mostly just for show, that's okay. Britney deserves to have that arrangement if that's what she wants.
Either way, I don't think Sam is simply using her, and I don't think he's been planted by her father... I think she likes him and she wants him there. He clearly is an actual chef too, so if Britney wanted to take care of him because she likes him, it makes sense that he was given a legitimate job to pay him for those expertise/services. As an artist (especially considering what she's been through) Britney understands how important it is for someone to be fairly compensated for their talents.
6:43 yeah it's uppity, ritzy shit to put fruits etc. into dishes that normies wouldn't necessarily consider a match. Sam is definitely a professional. Seems like a friendly enough dude as well.
I think Britney just wanted to make sure he was taken care of in their situation, and by some kinda miracle I guess the "estate" gave the go-ahead for him to be on the payroll. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. I'm glad Britney at least got to have fun being near a supermodel hotass dude who can cook too. She was denied so much throughout this whole conservatorship, that's the fucking least they could have allowed her.
