And as for Grimes?
She DIDN'T carry that child in her belly for 9 months.
Somebody else did...
And there are a LOT of under-discussed, totally neglected, absolutely critical psychological/emotional effects to consider due to that fact.
I kind of touched on this IVF topic in another thread...
"Will anyone ever talk about the differences between IVF babies and natural babies?"
https://www.sectual.com/thread-11498.html
In essence...
What if she struggles in connecting to the child because it just sort of randomly came into her life one day once it was fully developed, ready, and birthed by someone else?
In a sense, it was simply dropped into her life.
What if there's some sort of lack of hormonal component that facilitates a connection and nurturing response, because she DIDN'T go through that entire hormonal process, grow it in her own body, and give birth to it?
These are very serious points to consider.
I would say that there is a lot to think about when it comes to taking the surrogate approach in the future.
I hope she's okay, and obviously if she's having trouble caring for it properly since it's got colic and is particularly upset...
There need to be people hired to help her take care of it. It's called a fuckin' nanny.
But anyway...
The exact sort of over-analysis and wild speculation taking place in this thread is a perfect example of exactly why she'll probably regret every single fricken word she said in the interview and probably in general, lol.
What a nightmare.
I just hope she's getting proper support and folks to assist her if she's having a hard time.
It must be a really weird situation.
From the article...
I like the language she uses, "training" lol. I appreciate that outlook, I think it's pretty cool.
They're definitely approaching things in a very unique way and I hope it works out well so that they can do it again.
At the end of the day, she's only human (as much as I'm sure she wouldn't love to admit it) and at least she occupies a position where help in basically every form is easily attainable, because money buys.
