Recreational cannabis is illegal in PA and even if it wasn't, it's highly unlikely that Ray would be able to purchase THC containing vape from a legitimate store. It's very expensive and my guess is whatever he's puffing on, he gets it from the streets. Very dangerous but again, I would say that is not his problem.
I don't know why anyone thinks Ray would share if he was on some kinda terrible drug like meth/crack anyway. Even crazy people are ashamed of their addictions and rarely ever share the extent of their dependencies.
Ray is just an absolute asshole, and actually, he left that fairly innocuous territory when he started telling his family members to kill themselves...
He's now just straight up evil.
Especially considering the recent death of his mother, which to any sane person, is an extremely painful loss that changes the way one looks at life and death, forever.
If it doesn't instill a serious reverence within you, then there is something terribly wrong with you... and it seems there is something terribly wrong with Ray.
51/50 is utilized when someone is very obviously a potential threat to their own safety, and/or the safety of others. Sometimes it can be a very arguable gray area... but in Ray's case, there is nothing even vaguely debatable about it.
