I also don't like calling people by their internet usernames either.
If it's a very easy name, I sometimes use it, or I make a cutesy version of it...
Like for example, Kevin. I would call Kevin "Kevvy"...
If I can add a 'y' or an 'ie' or an 'ey' to the end, I will do so in order to cute-ify it and make it less jarring to use.
I just go by energy, and energy ain't got no fuckin' name.
