16:33 wow, who has time for that??? I hate fights in relationships. My take is that they should be over fucking immediately. Arguments suck and every minute spent in one is a waste of everyone's life. But I also know that narcissists love to drag on arguments for as long as possible and psychologically torment you with them. They can do anything but de-escalate.
I had said before that psychological problems are common, and they are. But I did not mean that narcissism is common. It's actually a term thrown around FAR too often these days, and in most cases, it simply isn't true. However, everyone is bound to run across at least 2-3 narcissists in the span of their lives. So we've all known at least a couple. They're really only very apparent as close friends, parental units, and romantic partners. Otherwise you're probably not gonna notice that someone is a narcissist.
I'd say Sage's chick was POSSIBLY a narcissist, but in general, it just sounds like she had some psychological problem that may or may not have been legitimate narcissism. Sounds like some type of PTSD or maybe BPD. Some kinda shit like that.
As for Sage, I commend him for being a good and non-abusive man (well, as far as we know or can tell) considering the horrific childhood he had (the details of which he has shared publicly). It takes a strong person to break the cycle, and I believe he did break it. He deserves a lot of honor and respect for that alone.
