After watching the true crime genre on YouTube, I gotta say, one thing that makes me appreciate humanity amidst these examples of horrible human behavior are the people still working hard to solve cold cases.

Long dead Jane/John Does are being identified through the advances made in the DNA/ancestry field. Killers who got away with their crimes for decades are being caught. It does restore a tiny fraction of my faith in humanity.
