Lithuania was the largest country in Europe's history after Kievan Russia. Lithuania had pagan rulers until 1300s when they conquered Christian Slavs. In 1500s Lithuania lost 80% of its territory to Poland. Later in the 90s Lithuania lost 1/3of their ethnic Lithuania population when they joined the EU . Its been one thing after another with EU .
