I'm glad James Arness stuck to his guns (pun?) and upheld the moral quality of the show til the end.
Of course it remains to be seen whether there was ever annoying propaganda introduced into the show over the years, I'll call it out when/if I see it.
Gotta remember this show started in the '50s and went all through the '60s-'70s hippie era.
It will be fascinating to see if/how this reflects in the show.
