My shits were damn near perfect for two weeks after surgery.
The third week, I spent five days birthing one long, hard shit. (Yeah, I've been eating a lot of ice cream lately.) Several visits to the toilet each day, with a turtle head poking out at the end of each session. Talk about miserable. After a few days of using PG and stool softeners, I finally cleared the log jam today. Just in time to time to start my pre-colonoscopy regimen of laxatives. I can't get a fucking break.
