I gave Twitter a rest for awhile. Just started back shitposting in the last couple of days. This lady and I mutually followed each other today. She's my first follower, and doesn't have a huge number of follows or followers herself. She's doing more or less the same thing I'm doing, and the same thing you did when you started Interstellar. You know, mostly posting to yourself and waiting for other people to see the value in it.
I'd actually had zero engagement on this account before today. Despite the slow start on Twitter, I'm not kicking myself for deleting my Gab account. Some of the people in my circle there started showing low-key white supremacist tendencies, and I realized the whole site was sort of like that. Yeah, I had a lot of followers, and probably could've eventually parlayed it into a successful influenza career, but catering to a monolithic mindset - and an increasingly unpopular one at that - would've proven to be an evolutionary dead end in the long run.
