So I have a 40 year old document on acid free archival quality paper, and it has writing on it that looks to be from a medium tip marker style pen. Dunno if it's water based ink, or alcohol. Anyway, 40 years old and the writing has faded down to about 80% opacity.
On the exact same document, there's writing of the same age, done in ballpoint pen ink, and it looks like it was written yesterday.
