"Gunsmoke" (1955) - Review & Commentary
S9 E17 - "Friend"

4:20 they're always breaking Kitty's balls about all the money she makes, but then whenever she's doing the books it's like they're barely making it, lol.

4:30 she mentions about 3 months ago, they had to have flooring replaced because it was full of bullet holes... that was like 3 episodes ago. So how the fuck is it still only 1878?

4:46 lol that's fucked up... the real Long Branch did burn down.

6:20 I can't believe they ever let Amanda Blake go from this show... they must have been out of their minds. Guy said he regretted it... well no shit, man.

11:00 so the Marshal gives a little bit of his history here saying he traveled around and worked on some ranches and basically found there were nasty dirty criminals everywhere, so it seems like he took it on himself to become a lawman. The way I take it is that he figured as long as he's gonna have to be confronting and killing bad guys, he might as well do it with a badge on.

11:17 seems like they're suggesting that 10 years ago, this Judd guy found Matt under the same kinda circumstances as he found this other guy.

17:00 when he says he never saw who jumped him, Matt gets this look on his face... I dunno, I just interpret it as suspicion. I think he's connecting the similarities between his experience 10 years ago and what happened to this guy.

24:10 I meeean, maybe they should dig him up and make sure he's in there. They've done it under less worthy circumstances, IMO.

29:42 well I guess that says a lot.

33:40 damn, that looks like a long run.

35:33 I TOOOOLLLLDDDD YOOOOUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bahahahaha, WHAT THE EFF??~?~?~?!?!?!?!!? What kinda psycho goes around doing shit like this?!?!?!?!?!?

I've got it all figured out... it ain't Judd in that grave, it's the other guy.

43:20 "I'm gonna dig up the grave, Marge." Oh hell yeah!!!!!!!!!

44:27 well it's a grim job, but let's be real... it's necessary. I bet somebody walks up before he's finished though.

44:40 I know this show too well.

47:50 lol well you don't see that every day.
