YouTube's new "advertiser friendly" policy is demonetizing videos for regular users (regardless of their popularity) left and right... they've effectively killed YouTube in favor of making it the internet's go-to site for TELEVISION.
Even that approach will not work out for them and YouTube will be but a shell of its former glory.
It's not good for regular uploaders, it's not good for TV shows, it's useless now. And they've taken this approach to their massive detriment, there is no repairing it in the future once a good alternative starts to catch on. They have cooked their goose.
