"Gunsmoke" (1955) - Review & Commentary
S12 E9 - "The Well"

0:40 so many businesses in Dodge now, it's gotten huge.

0:47 all these season 12 episodes have been super serious and mega high quality... they really unleashed their best, they sure didn't hold back.

1:50 "Them bratty youngins, they just make me pure ol'de nervous, I'll tell you."

1:58 fuckin' Thad looks like he's about to pass out... must be a heat wave in Dodge. That global warming though!?

3:50 well it sounds like everybody needs to get the hell outta Dodge then!?

4:40 oh great, it's another snake oil salesman.

7:20 this is DEFINITELY the best reception a snake oil salesman has ever gotten in Dodge.

10:28 she's gonna have to hide it under her skirt or something.

12:12 the Marshal is right... these people need hope. And hey, maybe it'll work after all!

13:04 copper pot eh? Sounds legit.

13:20 oh niiice, it's a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hopi_Kachi...china doll!!!!!!!

15:45 of course it is, who else would it be?! *eyeroll*

17:08 at least he's sexy as fuck!

18:00 lol.

21:20 this is some damn near apocalyptic shit right here!?

23:00 hard manual labor probably isn't the smart thing to be doing right now, but okay.

26:00 lol, Festus is a BEAST!!!!!

30:00 damn, we've never even seen Kitty kiss Matt like THAT before!!!!! Festus should go away on dangerous missions more often.

32:45 sounds so doomy... *banana stops dancing*

32:50 yikes, what a nightmare!

38:22 oh hell naw, that'd be the end of that bastard right then and there... she should have known he was gonna do that. You gotta hide it out of sight.

37:16 this scene of the kid walking down the road shaking the kachina doll is pure fucking fire. I'm serious.

46:12 just what in the hell does this dumbass think he's gonna do with a KNIFE!??

47:50 I'd imagine the concept of ritual human sacrifice to appease the gods PROBABLY has its origins in a scenario a lot like this... lol!?

49:23 God it's a great show. It's greater than ever before.
