S12 E16 - "Saturday Night"
I've got some concerns about the playback of Season 12 Vol. 2 Disc 1... it's got some very wobbly looking rings, about mid center. Hopefully there won't be any problems.

The stories are pretty much the same, but it's just the way they're directing/filming/editing... it is MEGA over the top. It just reminds me of that song by The Lovin' Spoonful, "You didn't have to be so nice... I would have liked you anyway."

If you check out the "Golden Age" section, it starts in the 1940s and reaches its peak in 1955. Gunsmoke came out in 1955. It was probably THE FIRST of its kind (TV) with any true dramatic substance.
