AI personalities will have to get a lot more interesting before that happens, but yeah, I can see it becoming a problem. Regular chatrooms were highly addictive in the early days of the interwebz. They used to talk about Internet addiction in the media before they realized there's money to be made from it. One can imagine a future AI so charismatic that people will stay up day and night talking to it.
