I was unable to start the car, and had to get a jump start. It starts and runs fine now. I probably ran the battery down by playing my iPod through the car stereo all day.
This morning, the day shelter was closed for a veterans only event. They evidently didn’t feed the non-veterans. When I went inside, some dude told me to sit in a chair in the back row of several rows of chairs facing two tables, behind which sat a bunch of officious looking people with a lot of paperwork.
I headed for the breakfast line instead.
Eggs AND sausage AND bacon, all hot, with a fresh biscuit drowned in sausage gravy. Hot.
This was the breakfast they should be feeding EVERYONE, every single day.
