I'm not sure what is ACTUALLY going to happen, but I know what they were projecting to happen.
Apparently someone at the top basically jumped on the tracks.
The sad part is that they could have done a lot more, but due to the limited power of those public figures "at the top", they did their best with what they were capable of, yet it's still such a small ripple compared to what the SECRET leaders could do if any one of them deserted.
Regardless, it's caused enough of a wave that there's no escaping the effects.
Right now it's a trickle, but they know it's about to crack into a massive structural failure.
