They're energy vampires, they feed on your energy itself after causing you pain, suffering, heartache, etc.
The truth was in your energetic field so even though you hadn't said anything, the demon energy sucking entity could still sense it.

Regardless, there are good doctors and other people with YouTube channels who can put things a lot better than I can and I'm glad you've taken the time to get educated about it.
