I genuinely think that's what pissed them off so bad about Phil Schneider.
People still discuss Deep Underground Military Bases, they still talk about alien/human treaties, they still talk about everything Phil has discussed (granted, he was the original whistleblower)...
But they aren't all waving around a shiny crystallized bar of something that isn't supposed to exist on Earth.
