Apparently it's for the purpose of attention diversion from the revelations contained within the Twitter Files.
They're going to great extents to drown out the info being shared about those revelations, even on the platform of Twitter itself by causing 'UFOs', 'Aliens' and even 'Project Blue Beam' to trend.
There are other things they're trying to divert attention from, but apparently this is the biggest one right now.
