11:00 so silica based lifeforms were abundant on Earth in the past, and now carbon based lifeforms dominate the planet.
It would make sense that the types of lifeforms change over the eons as the planet moves ever so slightly in one direction or another.
We're in the "habitable zone" currently, but that just means it's habitable for OUR type of life.
