I've always thought of putting one of these offshore platforms in Florida so I don't have to worry about the hurricane storm surge or any kind of flooding.
It only needs to be about 30 feet above high tide.
Hell yeah... keep it stocked with those hardcore self-inflating emergency rafts too, just in case.
