45:46 she's making a totally fascinating point about "hyper clean" environments nerfing your immune system and causing you to get sick more often. It makes so much sense. When I think back over my life about the people I've known who lived in not so clean environments... they were usually pretty healthy fuckers, vital as fuck actually. Conversely when I think about the people who were absolute clean freaks... many of them came down with very bad illnesses, and a lot of it even seemed like it was in their heads. Cuz it's also possible that being 'hyper clean' could be some type of obsessive behavior denoting a mental issue.
And the people who live in sorta 3rd world countries that are kinda dirty, but they have low rates of the terminal illnesses that plague the 'first world'... well, it sorta seems like what Kelli's suggesting might be true.
