I can't decide how many victims the rape dungeoneer in my novel should have.
I was thinking I'd make it 12, like a coven, and have the perp be some kind of new age looney tune, trying to start a sex slave cult or whatever.
But it would have to be a long book to tell (at least) 13 people's stories.
Plus it would be hard for one dude to kidnap that many women and transport them to his secret lair. At least one would thwart the kidnapping and rat him out before he got that far.
Not to mention, a cult leader would seduce his followers with a lot of mystic mumbo-jumbo. He wouldn't have to kidnap them.
