I've been eating cane sugar since I was born, and it's been agreeing with me since then.
I have a feeling that sugar wasn't giving our Reptilian Overlords the results they wanted so they moved onto HFCS.
I also think that vegetable and other seed oils might be alright, except when you use them for deep frying or bring them to their smoke point.
