I actually probably do know how they found it, lol. But it was surprising when they told other people and then they actually came around and said some shit. I had expected to be alone for the duration of the site.
One time I started a (free hosted) board back in like 2004, and someone randomly showed up on it. No idea how they found it. Maybe it was an admin of the actual free board host itself. They joined it and got super weird with me... sketched me out and I didn't register any more free boards after that.
