I am very disgusted with her over her transgression regarding expressing the intention of abandoning Miles Davis.
Sometimes animals do have to be rehomed if you hit hard times, or there can be many other reasons.
However in this instance, Morgan sees an 'out' from her tired traveling lifestyle, she envisions exchanging it for a luxurious setting where she conforms to boring, sad housewife lifestyle and becomes a breeder.
Miles is an impediment to that life. She sees him as being in her way, too large and too protective for her new lifestyle.
She will then become fat, lose all of her zest for life, and in future years when it's far too late, she'll want to reclaim her freedom, and then she'll have to deal with what to do with the kids, and likely divorce.
That's where it's going for her. Done.
