X.com was registered in 1993, and he only discloses personal access to it circa ~1999 with PayPal being the result of the X.com project at the time.
So then he purchased it back from PayPal in 2017.
Who was the original owner, and was Elon ever the actual owner, or was he just administering the website on behalf of another entity?
Did Elon purchase X.com from whoever had originally registered it BEFORE he started out inventing PayPal??
I really do wonder about the origins of the domain from day 1.
