He's right about Rumble, it's basically an echo-chamber unfortunately.
He should go ahead and download his most popular YT vids and any that he has a penchant for if he doesn't already have them saved locally.
This is a good way to at least save SOME of his work that has been shared on YT, so it can be reuploaded elsewhere in the future.
He just needs to get a cheap Windows laptop, a reputable brand, not some knock-off shit.

I've had a ~$350 Lenovo Yoga for like 7 years and it still runs like new. You just have to factory reset (any computer) every several years and it'll work like new.
