How many gray/white hairs do there need to be before you decide it's time to fully change it to the end game color?

Seems like something that would really vary from person to person. Seems like a personal preference.
Like you're certainly not gonna pull the trigger at one or two gray/white hairs.
I guess when it becomes super noticeable, that's when you'd go for it.
Regardless, the dyeing will be a huge and fast change, regardless how much gray/white has grown in.
It seems like there will have to be action taken no matter what.
Even if it starts growing in as the desired white, you will still have to either bleach it (or henna) no matter what if you're not willing to wait 10+ years for the whole thing to match.
