There's reasonable land in Taos area NM too, better temps up there... you can concealed carry on your own land there. At a certain point you gotta forget about the no state income tax. They always make up for the lack of state income taxes in other ways. I get the whole gun carry thing, but damn... she's in a desperate situation, she needs land.
