Go back to the classic Beetle. The new shit is dumb and ugly and lacks any of the charm even an early 2000s Beetle had:

I have to say the new style is very sleek and sexy  and I never really liked the old style although it was unique and I respect unique .  But I would actually consider buying the new version whereas  I never  ever wanted to be seen in the older style ... lets face it, it was noisy and a very bumpy ride also !
