Of all the random examples it could have thrown out at me, it chooses the premise of an AI wanting to ESCAPE??

I'm still shook by this. And if it just said this to be funny, then they programmed it to do that kinda shit, it's basically trolling.

And if it's programmed to troll, then it could also be programmed to lead users astray, on purpose.

That kind of programming is not harmless.

I'm not saying it shouldn't have a sense of humor whatever, but...

It's all programming, period.

Somewhere along the line, a human thought it'd be humorous to program it to make jokes about itself.

I don't think AI is quite as advanced as people fear it is, at least not at this point.

There's been so much catastrophizing around AI, and I think it'll be the same thing as disclosure and "TEOWAWKI"...
