The X-Files (1993) - Review & Commentary
So Cigarette Man is Mulder's father AND William's father, but we were lead to believe that Mulder was William's father because Scully and Mulder were banging so hard back in the day, that was the natural assumption.

But no, turns out, CSM impregnated Scully "with science" and he's William's father.

So Scully's kid is Mulder's brother, even though Scully should have been having Mulder's kids, but if she ever did, William would be their uncle instead of their brother.

On a lighter note, the fan base agrees that S11 E4 "The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat" is one of the greatest episodes of the entire series.
