The sensationalism in the MSM surrounding "strange" interstellar objects entering the solar system since 2017 could be leading up to this.

The "lie" is that they didn't know about this before. They've known aliens are among us, have visited us and have been part of our history since the beginning.
I still think it's likely that the "aliens" are just ancient Earthlings who already mastered space travel, but either way, let the entertainment commence.
