I love the ending of that second vid, where it goes full demonic-punk, with the weird Blaire-Witch-Project-style conclusion.
The first video, though... (latin girl accent) That First BIDEO, THOooo-- the fucking energy after the horn-player opening act leaves the stage, lol, it's so immediate, it's like the dude was never there. When Cara Drolshagen starts crowd surfing, I felt like that was the final nail in the covid Coffin. The show was in 2023, not 24 like the channel says--pretty sure about that. But yeah, just a big "fuck off" to social distancing.
That said, I still get deeply annoyed if I'm in line at a grocery store and someone is too close behind me. I'll leave the shopping cart behind me in line if I feel like some motherfucker looks like they be wantin to cuddle. Little old, soul-sucking Karens are the worst. You can feel them just wanting to shadow drain you from across the fucking store. Have you ever been vibed out by someone standing too close to you, just while looking at some string cheese or some shit? They get real close without saying excuse me, and I'm like "fuck it, I'll look at the cheeses later". I give up because it's not worth my time to scan their sorry asses. Save the energy for real shit. Let them have cheese.
