Maybe they burn it the fuck down in season 2 or 3 so nobody ever asks for more Dexter again.

I kinda wanna see them do this though. Like in a way where they make Dexter super polarizing, and only SOME of the fanbase will come out on the other side LOVING the choices Dexter made. The other portion of the fans will prolly riot.

You're never gonna be able to please everybody.

I think they should take Dexter (the series) out in the most heinously rockstar way possible, full on hotel room destruction levels of unhinged, unapologetically drive it into the ground.

Explosively going out a with a bang making Dexter act like a totally gloves off psycho freak version of himself.

You'll either be fully with him or 100% against him, and only the most sadomasochistic fuckers out there will identify with this previously relatable character by the end of it.
