So somebody's poking a gun up against Prater's chest in this promo.
I think either Charley or Harrison is gonna kill Prater. I don't even think Dexter's gonna be the one to do it.
We might not see another kill from Dexter in this season, which would suggest that he really might stop killing in general.
Maybe they just end the whole series with him discontinuing the killing thingy and never getting caught.
That would be pretty baller.
Although, I really gotta tell you...
I am fiending for Brian to come back as a conscience ghost for Dexter, and that would be a vibe shift that would definitely include killing. I guess it doesn't HAVE to, but...
Historically, he's usually there to encourage Dexter toward such activities. Maybe Dex DOES get a kill in the finale and he needs Brian's particular flavor of gusto to really finish it off.
The idea that Brian could be some kind of fixture in season 2 sends me. Dream scenario.
People are saying it's DEFINITE that he WILL appear in Resurrection at some point, so given there's only one episode left, it's gotta be the finale...

I've just passed it off as too good to be true and haven't even let myself get hyped for the idea.
But this season ending on the reappearance of Brian would basically SEAL THE DEAL that season 2 will be equally as epic as this season has been. No Uma or Dinklage level co-stars needed. At all.
The fandom would be hyped beyond belief if they thought Brian was going to be a regular in future seasons.
I can honestly say that potentially seeing him is what excites me most about the finale. Seeing Prater getting taken out barely moves the needle on my excitement gauge compared to Brian.
