NGL I've had a dreadful and probably totally irrational fear that it's some kind of "sun killer" weapon.
The thing that's nagging at me, is... Nasa is saying that it's not a threat given its trajectory and distance, yet nothing about this thing has been predictable, really, so... I don't know how to glean comfort from "given its trajectory, it's not a threat".
The coma has a shit-ton of Co2. Earth can convert small amounts into oxygen with trees, but what happens if it alters course and the coma sweeps over earth and just saturates it with Co2? That wouldn't be good.
SCBA's are already quite expensive... probably be a good addition to any prepper's home.
