From what I've read, Alex didn't like that Owen wasn't all that supportive of Trump and he told Owen that he should be more "optimistic" lol.
Good on Owen for jumping off the gravy train. I wish him good luck in whatever he does next.
If the Trump shit really is the reason, then Alex is kind of a dumbass to get rid of him for having a different opinion. A mix of viewpoints is a good thing for a show/network, otherwise it's just an echo chamber.
I haven't watched Alex's little outburst video, but apparently he called Owen a "snake" or something and painted it like Owen had basically been betraying him or something.
I call BS on that... I bet Owen just wasn't gonna have Alex telling him what to believe/how to act and he decided to leave. I seriously doubt he was doing anything "bad" behind the scenes. Alex probably just got drunk and in his feelings after his first announcement then came back all mad for the second one.
