You really can't trust anybody surrounding a figure like that.
She didn't say he WAS gonna run for president at some point...
Just said what his driving focus would be if he did.
There are a lot of possibilities in this case.
In all likelihood, it'll all die down and I'm sure Kirk won't be forgotten entirely, but...
