I'd recommend a medium roast and no flavored coffee, ever. If you want flavored just buy some coffee flavor syrups and add the flavor later.
Sometimes if I feel extra fancy, I'll put whipped cream on top and sprinkle some cinnamon on that. I eat the top with a spoon and dip the spoon into the coffee and mix it a little. I love that cool, whipped-cream and hot coffee mixture. So luxurious!
